How to Prepare for Your Live Zoom Yoga Class
Step 1: Download Zoom
To join the live online session, you will need the Zoom app. For the best experience, please use a computer so you can see demonstrations more clearly.
Download Zoom here: https://zoom.us/
Create a free account if you haven’t already.
Step 2: Gather Your Props
Please have the following items ready before class begins:
- Yoga mat
- Two yoga blocks (or thick books or containers of the same size)
- Yoga strap (or a long, strong scarf)
- One blanket
- Pillow (optional for extra support)
Step 3: Set Up Your Space
- Place your mat at least 3 meters (10 feet) from your camera.
- Position the mat horizontally (side to side) so your full body is visible.
- Ensure proper lighting so you are clearly visible on screen.
- Test your camera and sound by starting a Zoom meeting on your own before class.
Step 4: Health & Safety
- If you have injuries or medical conditions, please contact me before class to discuss modifications.
- Listen to your body. Rest whenever needed.
- This is a non-competitive space. Move at your own pace with awareness.
